Paint Your Inner Archetypes! [Online Workshop]
As we head into the end of the year, it is a good time to check in with yourself and see where you are at with your inner compass, your heart’s desires, and living a life on your own terms.
This 8 Weeks of Inner Archetype painting is like a process of Mapping your own inner Tarot Deck.
A little bit like the work of Internal Family Systems, we will look at the idea of mapping some of the inner characters that are either ‘running the show’ or that are just peeping through the curtains of our inner world and we’d like to invite them through to participate more in our lives.
Who is this for?
You might be an established / accomplished artist, or you might not ‘identify’ as an artist at all. There are no prerequisites in terms of artistic skill, just a willingness to show up with paper and pencils or paints, a willingness to connect with your inner world, and a readiness to map some of your inner characters.
What will I get from this?
You first gift (to yourself) will be a structured time to just play around with creativity – to have fun drawing or painting every week (Saturday) for 8 weeks. This gives you a session to look forward to each week and a group of like-minded people to connect with. You will also gain a deeper knowledge of some of your own inner characters, so that you are able to draw out more of your constructive characters and give them a more important role in the evolution of you life going into next year.
What will happen with each session?
First I will share with you a story about an inspiring person who has been guided by their intuition into a particular field of work or endeavour – sharing what helped them to make this leap or what put them on this path in their life, whether they arrived at it very young, or whether they finally came to find this calling in middle age. Then, we will paint or draw together for 45 minutes or so – I will provide some beautiful calming music. And then at the end I will invite you to share about your work if you’d like to (no obligation!).
How will it work?
This will be a 1.5 hour session each Saturday, where I will share one person’s inspiring life story, and then you will connect with one of your inner characters or archetypes, and see if you can channel a painting of this character onto your canvas or your sketchpad.
How Much will it Be?
Investment will be AUD $247 with an early bird price of AUD $197 closing one week before we start.
How will it be Delivered?
It will be delivered online over 8 Saturdays via Zoom each at 5pm – 6.30 pm Australian Eastern Standard time 5pm – 6.30 pm which is 8am – 10.30am CET time or 2pm – 3.30pm Bali time.
What do I need to Bring?
You need to bring yourself, to be in a quiet space where you can paint or draw, and also your art materials – a canvas and paints, or a sketchbook and pencils / pens.
Your Hostess and Guide for this Event
Your host for this event is ‘Akasha’ Chelle, is a lifelong artist who only started taking the painting side of things more seriously in her forties, when she had her very first Art Exhibition and then started creating her Youniverse Calendar (produced each year) with her original paintings.
She is a mostly self taught artist, painting from her inner guidance and her intuition. And each painting teaches her a little more about her inner worlds. This is the practice she will be transmitting in these 8 Sessions.
In Bali in 2025 she hosted many in person ‘Mirror and Mythos’ Tarot art workshops at La Luz, Ubud. Find out more about Chelle here.
Below are some of our happy Tarot artists from the Ubud workshops!
