What Can the Tarot Tell You that You Don't Already Know?
The beauty of the Tarot is that it brings an element of mysticism into our every day lives. It reminds us that there is magic occurring all of the time, whether we understand that or not. And that we can work with this magic to our advantage in life.
The Tarot does not hide anything, and so it encourages us to come out of hiding also. Unlike ‘Affirmation Cards’ or ‘Angel Cards’ which are great in their own right, the Tarot is more of a precision tool for working with the psyche.
It contains the whole of human experience, from the Archetypes expressed through the Trump Cards (these represent all the different characters we can play throughout our lives, like the Fool, The Artists, The Hermit, The Devil) to the elements (suits) cards, representing the four elements Fire, Water, Earth and Air.

Sometimes we can get stuck in one mode of being, whether that’s thinking mode, or feeling mode, or doing mode or non-doing mode, and we start to look at all of life’s challenges through this one prism.
Tarot helps us to zoom out from our micro perspective and see that on the macro level, there are many more elements at play.
It helps us to understand that we don’t have to ‘have it all worked out’. Or have it all ‘sorted’.
What to Expect from an Akashic Tarot Reading?
Whether you are pondering on a big life change, or you have some specific questions you are asking with regards to a relationship or a new work opportunity, you can expect that the Tarot will give you new insights from left field.
First we will take an energetic check in with your body. I will scan your energy field (I can do this remotely) and help you to release any tension you may be holding in your body .
Then I will invite you to sit with your question or the situation you would like clarity on, before inviting you to choose your cards for the reading. Whether we do this on Zoom or in person, the process is the same. Then I will feel into the energy of each card, as it relates to your specific life situation.
Sometimes I may also consult my Tarot guide book. The deck I use is the Aleister Crowley Thoth deck, which I have had for 25 years. As I give you my impressions from the cards, I invite you to participate in the reading by giving me feedback on what resonates for you.
